The Learning Center is an online library that contains all of EPL for Residential’s business critical support documents, organized into a simple filing system that makes them quick and easy to find.
You should consider starting in the Learning Center if you already know what areas of your business you’d like to work on.
About the Learning Center
All of EPL for Residential’s business support information is stored in the Learning Center. If you go to the Learning Center, you can find information in online folders in much the same way you do on your computer.
The documents are organized according to a hierarchy:
- Key HVAC Business Principles
- Business Concepts

Better Practices Folders, containing:
- How-To Step-by-Step Manuals
- Training Support and Materials
- Links to Advisors who can give you additional help

- Business Concepts
Only the "How-To Step-by-Step Manuals", "Training Support and Materials" and "Links to Advisors" are actual documents. The rest of the hierarchy is simply a system of categories and subcategories designed to direct you to the documents you’re looking for – just like folders and subfolders in any paper or computer filing system. Once you decide which Key HVAC Business Principle you want to work on, you can then select a Business Concept, and then, finally, you choose the particular Better Practices Folder you want. This folder will contain the manuals, training and support materials, and links that you need.
As you move through the Learning Center, the navigation links you’ve used will appear under the search box on the right side of the page. This will help you backtrack easily.
How to Use the Learning Center
When you enter the Learning Center, you’ll see a screen like this one with a list of the Key HVAC Business Principles. These are the fifteen main categories for organizing all the information in the Learning Center.
Choose the Business Principle you’re interested in, and click on the link to it.
After you click on a link to one of the Key Business Principles, you’ll be taken to a page with another list. This is a list of the Business Concepts within that Business Principle.
Choose the Business Concept you want, and click on it.
After you click on a link to one of the Business Concepts, you’ll be taken to a page with an even more targeted list. This is a list of the Better Practices Folders within that Business Concept.
Choose the Better Practices Folder you want, and click on it.
Congratulations! You’ve arrived at the information you need. By clicking on a link to a Better Practices Folder, you’ll be taken to a page with links to how-to step-by-step manuals, support materials and templates, and contact information for expert advisors who can help you implement what you learn.
To read how-to manuals, simply click on the links in the list you see in front of you.
To read and download support materials and templates, click on "Training Materials and Support". You’ll be brought to a page with a list of materials and templates, and you can click on the links to see each one.
To send an email to one of our advisors, click on "Advisors". You’ll be brought to a page with a brief biography and an email link that you can click on.
