Search Box

The Search Box is located on the right side of each page, underneath the links to the Learning Center and the Business Evaluator.

To use the Search Box, simply click inside it, type in the word or words you want to search by, and press Enter.

When to Use the Search Box

The Search Box is helpful if you already know the name of the title of the document you’d like to see.

To search by title, just enter the title into the Search Box and press Enter.

The Search Box is also useful if you would like to search by a subject keyword that is more specific than the sixteen HVAC Business Principles (i.e. if you want to learn specifically about "double-entry accounting" rather than about "Financial Principles of Contracting").

To search by subject keyword, enter the keyword into the Search Box and press Enter. If you don’t get the results you want, try modifying the keyword until you find what you need.

Another way to search is by document ID number. Every document in EPL for Residential’s library has an ID number. If you find that a certain document is especially helpful for your business, you can make a note of that ID number and use the Search Box to find it when you log back in. (However, if you’re on a dial-up connection, you may wish to copy the document to your hard drive, so that you can have access to it even when you’re not online.)

Document ID numbers will also help you find the documents recommended to you by the Business Evaluator report. The document ID numbers are listed in the right hand column of each printed page of the report.

To search by document ID number, enter the number into the Search Box and press Enter.
